S.T.E.A.D.Y. Reading Method™ Beta Program™

Applications are now open for a small group of homeschool families to participate in the FREE summer beta launch of the S.T.E.A.D.Y. Reading Method™.
I am looking for 5 Founding Families to help me test, refine, and improve this new reading program before its official launch.
If your child is struggling to learn to read and you feel unsure about what to teach next, this program was created for you.
Applications close June 15, 2026.
Why I Created the S.T.E.A.D.Y. Reading Method™

Reading struggles are personal to me.
As an Ontario Certified Teacher with over 25 years of experience, I have worked with hundreds of children who found reading difficult. I am also a homeschool mom who spent years teaching my own struggling readers at home.
Like many parents, I discovered that reading programs often moved too quickly, assumed children were ready for the next step, or left parents feeling overwhelmed and unsupported.
What struggling readers need is not more pressure. They need:
- Structure.
- Repetition.
- Confidence.
Most importantly, they need someone to slow down and show them how reading works.
That is why I created the S.T.E.A.D.Y. Reading Method.
What Is the S.T.E.A.D.Y. Reading Method™?
The S.T.E.A.D.Y. Reading Method™ is a structured, confidence-first approach to teaching struggling readers.
S — Slow the Skill Down
Reading is broken into manageable steps. Children master one skill before moving to the next.
T — Teach With Structure
Parents receive clear lesson plans and simple instructions so they know exactly what to teach.
E — Engage Through Interest
Reading practice is built around topics children enjoy and connect with.
A — Apply With Repetition
Skills are reviewed regularly so children develop confidence through practice.
D — Develop Confidence First
Children experience success often and learn that mistakes are part of learning.
Y — Year-by-Year Foundation Building
Skills are layered intentionally to create a strong foundation for future reading success.
